One trick I've learned over the years is to first comb your beard up and out to really separate the hairs and "fluff" your beard up a bit. This will give your beard some extra fullness and really leave it looking great. After you comb it up, then comb it straight down. This will allow the hairs on your cheek to lay a pretty flat while leaving the hairs under your jawline nice and full.

If your cheek hairs are a bit unruly (very common), then you'll want to take it one step further by using a boar hair beard brush. The boar brush has thousands of bristles that do an incredible job of really moving the hairs to get them to lay flatter. This will make a huge difference on your beard shape.Final Thoughts
